It is officially the 95th Academy Awards! A star-studded event held annually to recognize great achievement and the highest of honors in filmmaking. This iconic awards show also known as The Oscars, has 23 competitive awards categories. From Best picture and Best Leading Actress/Actor to Best Makeup and Hairstyling and even Best Costume Design, the Oscars are a night to recognize how many important and unique roles there are, working together, in film.
Beyond the big screen, it’s Hollywood, so it is a night of fashion. Over the weekend, stars took to the Academy’s cream-colored carpet this year in some seriously unforgettable outfits. From inspiring couture to statement-making artistic looks, these are some of our fav styles.

A beautiful vision in vintage Chanel, Vanessa brought divine diva glam. She wore a strapless black Chanel dress with contrast white outlining along the top and bottom. The gown also showcased delicate pearl buttons. This timeless look was completed with a slicked-back bun hairstyle and a sparkling diamond necklace. Old Hollywood meets 2023 chic!
Halle Bailey
A mermaid moment on the red carpet, Halle Bailey, singer, actress, and star of the forthcoming live adaptation of The Little Mermaid shined so beautifully. Wearing seafoam aqua tulle, Halle gave us all the Little Mermaid vibes with her custom Dolce & Gabbana look. A dreamy dress made for Ariel, she was a sparkling real-life Disney princess!

Pretty in PINK! Allison Williams glowed in a uniquely glam Giambattista Valli couture gown. Her stunnign dress featured a delicate but very detailed design, flowing pink skirt train, and intricate lace long sleeves. Gorgeous! These pink sparkles swept across the Oscar’s red carpet!

Angel incoming! Sofia Carson was glamour and grace in an unforgettable white ballgown by Italian designer Giambattista Valli. Beautifying the carpet with her look, Sofia paired her ethereal dress with a Chopard necklace starring diamonds and emeralds. This grand look reminds me of one of my favorite ballets, George Balanchine’s Jewels! From fashion to dance to music to movies, Sofia is an inspiration in so many ways—not to mention she was nominated for Best Original Song, her first Oscar nom, and gave a beautiful on-stage performance!
