“A Strange Loop,” “MJ,” and “Paradise Square” Lead Tonys 2022: Your Full List of Nominees

This morning, Tony-Award winner Adrienne Warren and three-time Tony Nominee Joshua Henry announced the nominees for the 75th Annual Tony Awards on the Tonys YouTube Channel.

The nominees come from 41 eligible Broadway shows that rand between August 1, 2021 and May 4, 2022. Leading this year’s nominations is A Strange Loop with 11 nominations including Best Musical. MJ: The Musical and Paradise Square follow with 10 nominations each, Company received 9 nominations, and The Lehman Trilogy and Six: The Musical each received 8. A special Tony Award will also be awarded to Artistic Director of New York Theatre Workshop James C. Nicola for his work in theater and the arts.

The Tony awards hosted by Ariana DeBose will air live from Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 12, 2022 on CBS and Paramount+. The celebration will begin at 7:00PM ET exclusively on Paramount+. The ceremony will start at 8:00PM ET on CBS and Paramount+.
