With Christmas and New Year’s right around the corner, it is the perfect time to throw kindness like confetti by finding ways to brighten someone’s day. Of course, you can devote your time to making your friends and family smile (which you probably do already!), but why not reach outside your circle to surprise someone else with a little sweetness?

An easy way to do this is to bake some cookies! Once you have cookies to give, you can visit your neighbors to share some holiday happiness, visit a soup kitchen, your favorite store, or even just head to the grocery store and give a stranger something to smile about. No matter what you do, remember that it isn’t just the sugar creating those sweet moments! It’s the time, effort, and love you put into taking your time to brighten someone else’s day.

Not sure where to start? Maybe one of these adorable recipes will inspire you!
