Kid star Ryan Buggle has been playing Noah Benson on Law and Order: Special Victims UnitĀ for the past two years, but this season heā€™s excited to share another one of his passions with his characterā€“dancing. ā€œHeā€™s becoming a dancer,ā€ Ryan says. ā€œHeā€™s showing other boys that it is awesome to be a dancer and I am so grateful that I am lucky enough to have that platform.ā€

In a press release about the latest development in Noah Bensonā€™s life, Ryan says, ā€œIā€™m so beyond excited to be given the opportunity to dance on SVU. The producers, writers, Mariska, the entire cast and crew have been so supportive. I hope that I can inspire parents who watch the show to encourage their child regardless of gender or ability to try a dance class.ā€

Noah wonā€™t be the only character dancing in this season ofĀ SVU, though. ā€œThey are casting some of my real-life dance friends to be in Noahā€™s dance class,ā€ Ryan tells us. ā€œMixing those worlds and giving these opportunities to my friends has been so much fun.ā€

Aside from dancing this season, Ryan is just happy to have the best on-screen mom he could ask for. ā€œIā€™m excited to see how Olivia and Noahā€™s relationship changes as he gets older,ā€ he says. ā€œAnd Iā€™m super excited that I already was able to film a scene with Ice-T this year because no one is cooler than Ice!ā€

I am so humbled by the opportunity to show how amazing the gift of dance can be for any child, regardless of gender Thank youā€¦ @nbcsvu @wolfentertainement @therealmariskahargitay Motivated to help in some small way to make dance more accessible to all children regardless of ability. Thatā€™s why I have designed a line with my friends @jakenothing that expresses my love for dance in NYC. A portion of each shirt will benefit the incredible organization @dancingdreamsny an amazing organization here in NYC dedicated to providing dance education to children regardless of their physical ability. Link in the bio! Keep on dancing! Love, Ryan Stay tuned for contest info tomorrow where you can enter to have your own @jakenothing shirt design! Ryan has also partnered with the clothing line Jake Nothing to create Limitless by Ryan, a dance-themed collection designed by the young dancer himself. The first design, which pictures a dancer on a taxi in front of the New York City skyline, is now live.Ā ā€œI designed this shirt in partnership with Jake Nothing and talented artist Elise Lefebvre to showcase my love for dance in NYC, a place where you are always welcomed in class.ā€Ā A portion of each shirt sold will benefit Dancing Dreams, a non-profit organization in NYC that provides dance classes to children withĀ medical or physical challenges.Ā
