Tell us about your dance experience!
I have been dancing since I was 3 years old! I have always danced at my home studio, Cary Dance Productions! Cary Dance Productions feels like a second home to me! I love dancing because when I dance I feel like I could do anything and I feel so safe to express myself in any way I want! I love lyrical and jazz the most because my teachers always make those classes SOOOO much fun!
How does dance have a positive impact on your life?
Dance has a positive impact on my life because whenever I have bad days or I am very stressed with school, I come to dance class and I feel a weight off my shoulders! When I dance all I feel is a wave of happiness swept into my body! It makes me feel so good!
How do you want to use dance to have a positive impact on your community?
Every year my studio and I have a dance program where we raise money by dancing for the Carrying Place! It makes me feel so amazing when I know I am dancing for people in need! I also love dancing for my friends and family because it always brings joy to their faces when I express something that I am very passionate about!!
