Taylor Swift is preparing for her Reputation stadium tour which begins in less than two weeks, but that does not mean she isn’t working on more musical masterpieces. The “Delicate” singer teamed up with Sugarland to sing “Babe,” a song Taylor wrote with Train’s Patrick Monahan when she was working on her Red album.

At the ACMs this past weekend, Sugarland singers Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush talked about the collaboration. Taylor reached out to them about the song, and they were immediately excited about it. Not only is this a throwback to Taylor’s lyrical style and subject matter from the Red album, they also revealed during their interview that this is the first time Sugarland has included a track by another artist on a record.

Kristian Bush called “Babe” a “really good song,” but we definitely think it wouldn’t be a stretch to say this amazing track could perform as well as Swift’s Little Big Town collaboration “Better Man.” Only time will tell!
