The nominations for the 2018 Tony Awards are finally here, and this year’s lineup is full of all of our favorite performers and performances, so we couldn’t be more excited for the Awards this June.

If we could focus on one category this season, it would be musicals. The musicals nominated for a Tony for Best Musical this year are The Band’s Visit, Frozen, Spongebob Squarepants: The Broadway Musical, and Mean Girls. We aren’t surprised by these nominations. Each of these musicals has received incredible acclaim from critics and audiences everywhere. What is surprising is the incredible range of these musicals based on performance time. Spongebob Squarepants which is this year’s most nominated musical made its Broadway debut in December while Mean Girls began it’s journey to Broadway stardom in March.

Among the stars nominated for Tonys are some celebrities you might be more familiar with on screen than on stage. Former Spider-Man Andrew Garfield is nominated for his role in Angel on Broadway and Pirates of the Carribean star Tom Hollander is nominated for his role in Travesties. Some of other notable acting nominees include Mean Girls star Taylor Louderman, Noma Dumezweni for her role as Hermione in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and Gavin Lee for his role as Squidward Tentacles in Spongebob Squarepants: The Broadway Musical.

Based on the nominations, the 2018 Tonys are going to be a night to remember. We just don’t know who to root for! How can you pick favorites among all of your favorites?

Check out a complete list of the nominees here.
