In 2012, V. Unbeatable formed. Since then, the dance crew from Mumbai, India made up of 29 members ages 12-27 has competed on India’s Got Talent and Season 14 of America’s Got Talent. In Season 14, they finished in fourth place and received a Golden Buzzer from Dwayne Wade who guest judged that season. The stunning act was invited back, not long after their success in Season 14.

How did they do it? The Champions series uses a panel of pre-selected fans from across the country that vote on the performances. V. Unbeatable drew attention with high-energy, acrobatic performances last year, and they continued to bring that same level of intense dancing and showmanship to the stage on Champions. Just before their win, the crew dazzled accompanied by Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker (who they flipped over, by the way).

Not only did their performance earn them the AGT: Champions trophy, they also beat out Season 14 winner Kodi Lee who sang Harry Styles’ “Sign of the Times” in the season finale. Simon Cowell called the 40 acts that competed this season, the “greatest acts in the world. It looks like V. Unbeatable is now the greatest act in the world by that description.
