The world-renowned Cannes Film Festival celebrated its 75th anniversary over the past week. One of the most glamorous red carpet events of the year, the festival took place in the French Riviera. Bringing together incredible works of international filmmakers with world-class fashion designers, we couldn’t keep our eyes off the red carpet.

Cannes is a celebration of film and the arts and a stage for the best of fashion. Harper’s Bazaar comments on the event, “From the finest couture gowns to the most precious of jewelry, the stars, stylists, and fashion houses really go above and beyond.” Film and fashion masterpieces you can only dream about were brought to life on the red carpet and on-screen last week.

From vintage designs to fresh-off-the-runway looks, these are the week’s standout styles.

Leonie Hanne in Hot Pink Tulle

With over 4 million Instagram followers and style beyond measure, German blogger Leonie Hanne walked the red carpet in France in the kind of hot pink look we dream about. Leonie wore a custom layered tulle dress in bold pink. The look, designed by Nicole + Felicia Couture, featured an elaborate high-low skirt and train and ruffle sleeves. This superstar always wows!

Jasmine Tookes in Tony Ward Couture

Flawless and radiant, high fashion model Jasmine Tookes brought sunshine to the red carpet in a brilliant yellow gown. If you’ve ever wondered why yellow symbolizes happiness, you haven’t seen this gown! A stunning stand-out piece in bright yellow with silver sparkle detailing, you can’t look at this dress without smiling. Tony Ward has done it again.

Elle Fanning in Armani Privé

Elle Fanning was shining in this sweet and simple blush dress by Armani. A gracefully beaded mermaid dress, this look is whimsical ballerina glam. On the red carpet, Elle dazzled in Chopard jewelry and a charming hair clip accessory in the shape of a bow the Vogue called “sugar-sweet.” Such a small detail, but the bow brought the whole outfit together! An effortless side part and wavy curls completed the style.

Bella Hadid in Vintage Black and White Chanel

Vogue called Bella Hadid’s vintage and velvet look a “flamenco-inspired dress.” This dress is straight from the 80s! A dress from Karl Lagerfield’s fall 1986 collection. This is a perfect look for a red carpet in the South of France! The dress featured a floor-length ruffle skirt, off-the-shoulder puff long sleeves, and a flower detail on the bodice. Accessorized with a Chopard choke and a delicate bow in her ponytail, this look was elegant and chic.

Elsa Hosk in Valentino Pink PP

Paris Fashion Week is long over, but Valentino is not letting up on the pink. Elsa Hosk brought the Pierpaolo Piccioli “pink-out” back to the red carpet last week in a showstopping pink gown. The look was completed by a detailed up-do bun fit for a princess, opera gloves, and a shining sculptural choker. Is it any surprise that she wore this look to the premiere of Elvis? In fashion, you can never go wrong with pink!

Caro Daur in Valentino Pink PP

More pink in sparkling sequins! International fashion blogger Caro Daur knows how to rock a red carpet. Wearing a Pierpaolo Piccioli Valentino hot pink sequin mini dress and matching platform heels. The look was completed with a fuchsia Valentino clutch and Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
