Tell us about your dance experience!

I have been dancing for nine years and four of those competitively. I take all styles of dance and attend multiple competitions yearly. I have placed in the top 10 multiple times with my solo over the past three years and also with group dances. Last year, my teammates and I won Platinum [at] nationals with our hip hop dance “Thriller.”

Dance is my way [to express] my emotions through art. It brings me joy to be in the studio doing what I love and sharing my passion with my dance friends. I also have been fortunate to have wonderful dance teachers who are positive role models in my life.

I want to share my love for dance with others and teach and mentor the younger students at my studio to help them grow to love dance as much as I do.
