We talked to Anais and Mirabelle about how they make the most of quarantining. They shared with us everything they’re enjoying at home while social-distancing.

Their TV and Movie Recommendations

When it comes to screen-time, Anais and Mirabelle have a perfectly curated watch-list. “Right now, we are watching the TV shows On My Block, All American, and I am Not Okay with This,” they shared. “You can just vibe to these songs while getting ready in the morning or reading a book,” Anais and Mirabelle said about their current go-to playlist. They love anything by Billie Eilish, Rex Orange County, or Khalid. “Their music style is so calming but also catchy.”

To All the Boys and More Teen Reads

Anais and Mirabelle are doing a lot of reading in quarantine. “So far, we have read To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, P.S. I Still Love You, Always and Forever Lara Jean, The Darkest Minds, and Stargirl!” If you’re into teen stories like Anais and Mirabelle are, they think these books would be perfect additions to your reading list.

Essential Podcasts

Two of the podcasts entertaining Anais and Mirabelle each week are Haley Pham’s advice podcast Call Me Candid and the mystery podcast The Unexplained Disappearance of Mars Patel. They’ve struck the perfect balance between life advice and motivation and a thrilling story!

Acting at a Distance

To keep up with their busy dance and acting schedules, Anais and Mirabelle are taking classes online. “Even though we are staying home, we are still keeping up with dancing and acting via Zoom!” Anais and Mirabelle said. “We are still taking our weekly acting and dance classes online. Our teachers email us the scripts for class and we practice them with our scene partner in ‘breakout rooms’. After that, we join the main session and perform our scenes for the class while our teacher gives us notes!”
