Tis the Season to shine! The holiday season is here! December fashion is festive, fun, and fierce. With so many days of celebration on the calendar, it’s easy to make every day a special occasion to dress up for! Inspired by all the snowflakes, sparkles, and seasonal decor, I put together two of my favorite looks for this season. Let’s get styling, Studio to Street: Holiday Edition!

Holiday Dance Look

Hey, Dancer the Reindeer! We’re dashing through the studio. When it comes to adding some of this season’s magic to your dance OOTD, have fun with bright holiday colors and textures, festive accessories, and (my favorite) a bow on top. This look truly is a gift.

Go fashionista! A luxe fabric that gives glamour and dimensional shimmer, crushed velvet is a true love of mine for holiday outfits. I paired a bright red velvet leotard with a white snowflake mesh ballet skirt. Snow cute!

Festive Details: Adding a bow accessory (or multiple) is the perfect way to glam up your everyday ballet bun. It is also an easy and fun DIY. With some satin red ribbon, I made two mini bows to add to my dance hairdo. Doesn’t this outfit look like the perfect present?

Makeup: A little rosy red blush, shimmer star highlighter, and red matte lipstick are a perfect match for this outfit. Grab your dance shoes and waltz across the dance floor sparkling like the Sugarplum Fairy!

Holiday Glam Look

We love a sweater weather moment. This season, there are so many trending styles to get creative with! Festive knitwear, white-toned denim apparel, and gold accent pieces are the season’s standouts. With so much holiday cheer, this is a glam look ready to jingle bell rock in!

Dress Code: Glam. For this look, I started with fitted white denim flared jeans. These neutral pants are a versatile classic. (White jeans are an awesome piece of my capsule wardrobe that work with so many clothing items and styles. I paired these with a long-sleeve top in a festive red swirl pattern. The final addition to this outfit is some fun white leather heels to keep this outfit glam and on point.

Accessorize: Some things just wouldn’t be complete without a perfect bow on top. To sweeten this style, I added cute holiday red plain bows on each side of my curled hair. With this new fashion season, I adore gold accent pieces, so this glam is accessorized with a gold chain purse and gold jewelry.

Makeup: Let’s keep it simple for this glam look. Here it’s all about that classic red lip.

Trying holiday style trends is fun and a great way to explore your fashion creativity. Choose pieces that you love and “slay” (or should I say, “sleigh!”) queen. We love a look perfect for all of the holiday eating, twinkling lights, Nutcracker performances, merry music, and gatherings of family and friends. Here’s to a beautiful season and making memories in our hearts! Merry everything!
