Let’s be real, sometimes wearing a uniform for dance class can get boring and repetitive. But it doesn’t have to feel like that. You can show your personality and creativity while looking put-together and professional.

It’s All About the (Dance-Approved) Accessories

If your uniform feels plain, accessorize! The options, like cute scrunchies, clip-on or tie-in bows, colorful hair clips, and barrettes, are endless.

You can also add accent braids to your bun (or other hairstyles if they meet your class dress code). A slick-back is the perfect opportunity to wear cute clips, from pearls to floral. Just make sure that all of your accessories are dance safe.

Playing Around with Layers

Cool weather is perfect for playing around with layers. They keep you warm and cozy, and give you opportunities to get creative with your outfit. Layer a cropped sweater and sweater socks with your leotard and tights, or a cute wrap skirt with a puffer jacket.

Upgrading Your Dance Bag

Your dance bag is something you carry with you all the time. It’s basically a part of you. You might as well customize it, so that it feels like you! Add cute keychains, iron-on patches, pins, and bows. The options really are endless. Channel your personality into trinkets!

Getting Creative With Your Makeup

Makeup is a great way to elevate your everyday dance uniform without interfering with your dance. Plain uniforms are the perfect match for fabulous makeup! Experiment with colorful or neutral eyeshadow, eyeliner, glitter, or even rhinestones. Don’t forget shimmer lip gloss.

Confidence is the Real Look

Nothing looks better than confidence! Confidence that turns heads when you walk into the room is the best way to make even the plainest outfit look couture. It doesn’t even matter what you are wearing because your confidence speaks for itself!
