It’s homecoming season! That means it’s time for sparkly dresses, fun makeup looks, and making memories with your best friends. Whether you are still looking for the perfect look, counting down the days, or excited for the football game, this is your year and your time to sparkle. Homecoming is about making as many memories as possible to take with you.

Plan Your Look Early (and Keep it Fun)

The more time you give yourself to plan your look, the more time you have to execute it and enjoy the rest of homecoming! Whether you are keeping it simple this year or going all-out with all sequins and glitter, you are going to look amazing. Go shopping to try on different looks, bring some friends, and turn it into a fun activity. When the night of the dance comes, you can even throw a little “get ready” party with your friends and put on your favorite songs, take pictures, and have fun.

Showcase your School Spirit

Sometimes spirit days can seem silly, but don’t skip out on dressing up! It gives you an excuse to wear something fun every day, and it will create a lifetime of memories. Wearing your comfiest pajamas on pajama day and your favorite football jersey for jersey day! Most importantly, don’t leave your effort at home on game day! This is your chance to get creative with over-the-top outfits.

Spending Time With Friends

These are the memories that make homecoming feel so special and magical. Take the pictures, make the TikToks, or even bring a digital camera to vlog the whole week. Don’t forget to throw in a sleepover at some point, then you can get up and get ready together for the day.

Dance Like No One is Watching

Homecoming dances are all about having a good time, and yes, it can feel like everyone is watching you on the dance floor. But the truth is, most people are so focused on themselves that they aren’t even paying attention. So go on that dance floor and pull out all your best moves. You are a dancer after all.

Celebrate Yourself

While homecoming is a time to have fun, it is also a time to recognize just how far you have come. Whether this is your first or your last homecoming, it marks a new chapter in your school year. So enjoy every minute of it!
