“It has inspired me insanely, whether that’s because of someone I am working with, or just dance itself. It has shaped me to the person I am today and I will be forever grateful of that.”

Tell us about your dance experience!

I started dance when I was 11, and I started competing when I was 13. I have always loved Showstopper, and it was always been my favorite competition to attend. This year, I placed first in category, fifth overall, received a crystal award, and made Showstopper All-Star, with my solo. I also attended Showstopper Finals and the America Loves to Dance Awards this year in Galveston, TX, and performed in the Opening Number. I am so grateful and proud of my accomplishments with Showstopper.

How does dance have a positive impact on your life?

Dance has helped me through so many rough patches in my life. It has inspired me insanely, whether that’s because of someone I am working with, or just dance itself. It has shaped me into the person I am today and I will be forever grateful for that.

How do you want to use dance to have a positive impact on your community?

I want people to feel the passion that I do when I dance. I want to inspire and be inspired when it comes to dance. Every time I perform, I am always trying to spread my passion with the audience, because my goal in life is to spread positivity everywhere.
