Tell us about your dance experience!
I’ve been dancing since I was 2. At the age of 5, I decided I wanted more than two classes per week. My parents agreed to letting me join my studio’s company team. I’ve been competing with my dance family ever since.
How does dance have a positive impact on your life?
Dance keeps me active. It’s allowed me to build relationships and friendships in and outside of my studio family.
How do you want to use dance to have a positive impact on your community?
I’d love for people to see that dance is not cookie-cutter. There is so much diversity amongst this world of dance. I’d also love to broaden my reach of giving back to my community—having open calls for days of dance.
