“Viewer beware! You’re in for a scare!” Goosebumps is more spooky, but it is also full of laughs. It is based on a best-selling book series by R.L. Stine, but in this case, several of the author’s monsters and characters escape from a book. The monsters run loose in the town and it’s up to the characters to save the day. This is a great movie to watch with friends. It will make you all jump!

Coraline (2009)

Looking for a creepy-cute vibe? Coraline is a stop-motion film making it a standout among dark animated films. The film follows a girl named Coraline who finds an alternate universe that seems like her dream life until she realizes it is not what she thought. You can pair this movie with a craft night to make your own Coraline dolls.

Hocus Pocus (1993)

If you’re planning a movie marathon, Hocus Pocus and its 2022 sequel will bring out all the giggles, smiles, and gasps. It is the perfect mix of adventure and comedy. Three witches are accidentally brought back to life in Salem. Their quest to find the ingredients for a spell that will keep them alive forever causes trouble around the town. 

The Haunted Mansion (2003)

Based on the famous and spooky rides at the Disney parks. The Haunted Mansion is a spooky family film all about the adventure. It takes place in a very haunted mansion with a curse that quickly becomes a nightmare an unsuspecting family on vacation. This is a great group-watch movie for groups that want to enjoy spooky themes but not horror.
