Hi! My name is Christy Lyn, and I am the lead dancewear designer of Royal Couture! The first day of fall is approaching, and that can only mean one thing, new fashion trends for a new season! It’s time to say “Hello,” to the back-to-school season and get back to our favorite grind – school, dance, sleep, repeat!

Saying goodbye to summer and going back to your daily routine can be a fresh, fun thing! I think you can brighten up your whole mood and outlook for the day just by putting on an outfit you feel truly good in! My best advice for the fall is to make sure you wear something you love. Whether it’s your favorite color, favorite neckline, or favorite pair of jeans, there are so many new and exciting trends on the rise that are going to be major this school year.

Bring on the Patterns

Patterns are a big trend for this season! Head back to school with cool, fresh prints like gingham, animal print, and crushed velvet (of course). These are some of my faves for fall outfits! Balance your favorite patterns with solid colors for an eye-catching outfit!

Love Your Layers

Layering is one of those classic trends that can be done in so many different ways! Make your favorite tank dress wearable on a chilly day by throwing a cap sleeve shirt underneath. Or, keep sporting your summer bodysuits during the fall by adding a bomber jacket or t-shirt to your ensemble. Depending on the climate where you live, the fashion possibilities are endless.

“Work hard in silence, let your success be your noise!”

Accessories never go out of style. Whether it’s summer or fall, adding some shine to your look just makes everything better. Gold is definitely my go-to color when it comes to fall jewelry. Throw on some round earrings, a light chain necklace, or even a gold hair accessory to accentuate your personal style!

“Be the Best Version of you and your own kind of beautiful will shine through.”

Instagram it! Now, pack your backpack (and your dance bag!). It’s time to head back to class. We would love to see how you style your back to school outfits! Tag me (@royalcouturexo) and Showstopper (@goshowstopper) on social media with the hashtag #RoyalCoutureXshowstopper if you try any of these looks!
