Dear Evan Hansen returns to Broadway this December, and Jordan Fisher will be returning to reprise his role as Evan.

Before theaters around the world shut their doors and Broadway went dark, Jordan was taking the stage as Evan Hansen, the lonely teen caught up in a lie that ties a community together until it all comes crashing down. The fifth Evan in the show’s history, Jordan follows Ben Platt, Noah Galvin, Taylor Trensch, and Andrew Barth Feldman in playing the musical’s titular role.

The cast of Dear Evan Hansen, led by Jordan, made an appearance on Good Morning America this week (their first time being reunited since the show closed!) to announce the show’s plan to reopen and to perform “You Will Be Found.” The announcement comes just weeks after the first trailer for Dear Evan Hansen, the film adaptation of the Tony Award-winning musical.

Dear Evan Hansen returns to Broadway on December 11. (The show’s North American tour resumes on December 7, and the London production reopens on October 26.) Tickets are on sale now. “Can’t wait to put that polo back on,” Jordan said on Instagram
