Fighting the pain

  • Not all heels are painful, but sometimes they can be. If the heels you’re wearing are closed toe, a trick i’ve learned is to tape the two toes beside your big toes of each foot together. It temporarily eases the pain. Just make sure you take it off after 30-45 minutes so you don’t cut off circulation.
  • Insoles are super comfortable. All you do is slip them inside your heels and problem solved. If you are wearing an opened toed style don’t worry. Just buy a cheap pair of insoles and cut off any fabric that hangs over or outside of the shoe.
  • Prepare your feet. If you’ve never worn heels before make sure you do some things around the house in them the day before. This helps to break in the shoe, and also helps you get in some walking practice.

Use these simple tips and you’ll be a strutting like a runway model in no time!
