Cinderella, Prince Charming, Snow White, Fairy Godmother, and more have been cast for the Washington D.C. premiere of Once Upon a One More Time, a fairytale mashup with a Britney Spears soundtrack and direction and choreography from Keone and Mari Madrid.

Making its debut at Shakespeare Theater Company’s Sidney Harman Hall for a November 30, 2021 through January 2, 2022 run ahead of a Broadway premiere, Once Upon a One More Time is an original story about a fairy tale book club full of your favorite classic characters and their search for more modern stories. Once every two weeks, the princesses get together for their book club. One day, a surprising new story from Fairy Godmother makes the princesses question everything they know, including all the standard fairy tale tropes. Singing Britney Spears classics like “Oops!…I Did It Again,” and “Toxic,” the princesses are rewriting happily ever after.

Filling out the book club and princess cast are Belinda Allyn (Belle), Ashley Chiu (Sleeping Beauty), Jennifer Florentino (Little Red Riding Hood), Selena Haro (Gretl), Briga Heelan (Cinderella), Aisha Jackson (Snow White), Amy Hillner Larsen (Goldilocks) Wonu Ogunfowora (Rapunzel), Morgan Weed (Princess and the Pea), Adrianna and Mila Weir (Little Girl), and Lauren Zakrin (Little Mermaid).

The princes are played by Stephen Brower (Prince Suave), Justin Guarini (Prince Charming), Joshua Daniel Johnson (Prince Brawny), Kevin Trinio Perdido (Prince Mischievous), Ryan Steele (Prince Erudite), and Stephen Scott Wormley (Prince Affable).

We can’t forget the rest of the fairy tale favorites! Playing dwarves, iconic villains, and our Fairy Godmother are Brooke Dillman (Original Fairy Godmother), Raymond J. Lee (Clumsy), Mimi Scardulla (Stepsister Belinda), Emily Skinner (Stepmother), and Tess Soltau (Stepsister Betany).

The musical is narrated by Tony Award winner John Glover.
