Roses are red. Violets are blue. You know how it goes. It’s February, the perfect winter/spring mix of love and new fashion. February is the perfect time to show yourself, your friends, and your family extra love and appreciation. Whether you are going out for a special occasion or staying in with your galls for the Valentine’s holiday, styling an outfit is part of the excitement. Let’s create an outfit you heart.

“I think the perfection of love is that it’s not perfect.”

Taylor Swift

This is a celebration of love, and the fashion forecast is showing pink and red! Cool, bold, and exciting, these colors are everywhere in fashion! Style these trending colors in sweet and subtle outfits or go full-out.

Look 1: Pastel Pink Out on the Town

Dressed up and ready for glam, this look is cupid-approved. When putting together an outfit for a more dressed-up occasion this season, a red or pink dress is the perfect base. I chose a pastel pink dress with lace and ruffle details. For an all-pink ensemble, I paired it with matching pink kitten heels and a clutch purse colored in marbled peach. Accessorize to match your style! An outfit like this is an opportunity to shine from the inside out.

“Spread love everywhere you go.”

Look 2: Sparkle Like You Mean It!

The main event is starring you! For this outfit, choose a feature piece that is uniquely you. Think one-of-a-kind, fashion you love. For me, this meant my disco ball pants! To keep the beat rocking, I paired these sparkly trousers with a bold red top for a powerful combination. We’re going for Queen of Hearts vibes. Silver accents, including tiny braids in the front tied up in reflective silver bows make the star power of this look that much more obvious.

Look 3: Bestie Beach Day

Rolling waves and sunshine are a summer daydream in February, but the fashion doesn’t stop here. Red and pink seem interchangeable around Valentine’s Day, but they’re also versatile in our slow transition between seasons. For this beach day, I chose a rosy red swimsuit while my sister picked a pink heart look. Once you have your base, there’s not much styling required for a fabulous beach day. Calling all sweethearts, dance besties, friends, and family! Smile, laugh, and have some fun!

“Love planted a rose, and the world turned sweet.”
