It’s officially time to find our autumn fashion faves and fall into new styles.

Heather A. Stillufsen said, “Autumn is the season that teaches us that change can be beautiful,” and I couldn’t agree more. As we shift our fashion to bring back our long sleeves and cozy ‘fits, this season gives visions of fall leaves, honey pumpkin lattes, and happy memories with friends and family. Fall also has a spiced-up color palette that’s the perfect shift from our summer vibes.

There are so many unique fashion pieces out there to fall in love with and match to your personal style. These are my favorite fall looks with inspiration for how style them. Trust me. It’s easy as (pumpkin) pie!

Vests

Layer up your fall ‘fits! The vest is trending this season. A fashionable article of clothing I just love, vests are nothing if not versatile. Sweater vests in cozy knit material to bright zip-up vests, halter vest tops with pocket detail, and even suit-style blazer vests are all incredible options for this style. Vests are true fashionista vibes. As a sleeveless option, vests are also a great transitional piece to style for changing seasons. Layer it. Pair it. Style it. Work it! Vests are pretty and practical.

Plain White Tanks

A timeless wardrobe staple that pairs well with…anything! From Bottega Veneta to Prada, the classic white tank made a fab appearance in many of the most iconic runway shows internationally during 2022 Fashion Week. The white tank is a classic staple piece that can be dressed any way you like. It can be the perfect neutral canvas to use as a base for layering, accessorizing, and styling your favorite bold fall pieces.

Maxi Skirts

Drama. Length. Fashion! Maxi skirts are so chic. Hemlines and skirt lengths are constantly changing with the seasons, so forget your ultra mini skirts. Harper’s Bazaar says, “…the long denim skirt has nearly endless subcategories. All the better to get in on a look without sacrificing your particular style DNA.” There is a cool versatility about the maxi skirt. (Versatility is the theme for fall!) Along with a cool silhouette, there is also a variety of unique fabrics and denim washes to choose from. If you’re going for effortless, the maxi skirt is essential.

Cargo Pants

These are the pants of the season. This trendy take on flared trousers features a styled silhouette that is very versatile for fall. Cargo pants can be worn casually with a fitted tee and a vest to compliment your favorite sneakers. You can also take these pants in a different direction for a totally dressed-up bodysuit look with your go-to fall boots. This trend has been a fashion magazine feature and a hot trend lately. It’s fierce! These loose-fit trousers can take on such a glamorous look. This is cool girl fall.

“Autumn leaves shower like gold, like rainbows, as the winds of change begin to blow.”

Blazers

Season after season, the blazer remains fierce! Elevate a fashion look in seconds with this simple but chic addition. Vogue calls tailoring, suits, and, of course, blazers “timeless.” “All of these offer an elevated approach to wardrobe fundamentals. It’s what we’re calling forever style.” An eternal fashion statement, the blazer is serving looks. You can’t leave this item off your fall wardrobe checklist.
