Keeping up with color trends this season, let’s go full-out with a bold, watermelon style. Pink and green are the colors of the moment right now, and they go so well together.

When we think of spring fashion, bright, fun, energetic colors immediately come to mind. Two of my absolute favorite colors, pink and green are trending together. Let’s call it a match made in heaven. We see this striking combination in nature all the time with so many vibrant pink blooms surrounded by lush green foliage. It’s no surprise this colorway has been making a fashion statement over the last several years.

While we’re seeing pink and green make its way down the runway this season, we’ve seen it thrown onto walls and furniture in the past. Just a couple of years ago, people were finding their love of pink and green in their homes! Exploring this love for The Times, paintmaker Edward Bulmer talks about this timeless combination we can see going back hundreds of years, “The colors are diagonally across from each other on the color wheel so contrast but compliment.”

Styling these shades together is a little bit of magic. PopSugar notes this “mood-boosting” color trend that was popular at 2022 Fashion Week Runways around the world. There is something so fun about the glowing hues of pink and green together. We love a warm/cool combination, perfect for florals, retro looks, and color-blocking.

Get styling! Trending combinations like this are always an opportunity to experiment. Try out all the ways you can blend this vibrant color combination with your wardrobe. Take a solid pink dress and add an oversized green blazer or fierce overcoat atop. Go for a dramatic pink denim pant with a green top or a printed green skirt with a textured pink bodysuit (like the Royal Couture X Showstopper leotard). Even a full monochrome look in either color with contrasting color accessories is a bold way to try out these colors together. Pink and green are a kind of gaudy gorgeous we can’t achieve with other color pairs.

Your outfits are sure to stand out in this fab colorway perfect for springtime! How do you style these bold shades?
