No one loves pink more than Showstopper Magazine, and Zendaya has won our hearts yet again (it’s honestly a daily thing) with a monochromatic hot pink suit look at Valentino’s 2022 Autumn/Winter Paris Fashion Week show. We are, of course, obsessed. So we have all the details and some suggestions for how to recreate the look yourself.
This look is a pop of pink—more like BAM, right? Walking into the show with a long double-breasted coat, Zendaya was a living debut of Maison Valentino’s latest collection which is very bold, but also very pink. Zendaya’s look included a blazer and wide-legged pants decorated with 3D floral appliques. As if that wasn’t enough to be eye-catching, the look also featured chunky square-toe platform pumps that Maison calls a “disco box” shoe.
Maison calls pink “the color of love, community, energy, and freedom” in a post about their latest collection. We couldn’t agree more! Pink is bold for a reason, you don’t need to walk the runway at Paris Fashion week to need an excuse to wear it. Luckily we tracked down some (almost) too hot to touch pinks to wear next time you’re feeling fashionable and free.
Recreate the Look
If you’re dreaming of head-to-toe pink, it’s not as hard as it looks, and while we’d all love to join Zendaya in rocking a full Valentino look, there are other options for being fabulously pink any day. Just make sure to match your pinks!
The centerpiece of this look is the pink suit. Everything else falls into place around the structure created by the jacket and pants. We love ASOS’s Extreme Man Suit in Fluro Pink. What it lacks in flowers, it makes up for in having that overall powerful pink vibe we’re looking for.
Embracing the power of pink with an extra hint of fabulous from the satin fabric, this ASOS satin suit in pink is also a nice fit for our monochromatic look if you’re looking for more of a cozy vibe.
Wearing an all-pink suit is a huge statement, but why stop when you’re already this fabulous? To get at the movement of Zendaya’s Valentino look, we need a pink coat to match. Remember, we’re going for long here. Something like SHEIN’s Button Front Lapel Neck Coat will give you that extra flare when you strut down the street.

We are going head to toe, so don’t forget your shoes! A platform is a must for a look like this. We need height! A chunky platform heel or boot will get you closest to Zendaya’s level (literally). How high are you willing to go? We love this 70s style, 2.25 inch double platform from Steve Madden.
Steve Madden COBRA HOT PINK platform boot, $169.95
If you’re not feeling the heels, but still want to reach for the sky with a platform shoe, a platform sneaker will do the trick and give your look a streetwear edge. Dolls Kill has a sweet pair of platform kicks pink enough to stop traffic.
