The most wonderful time of the year might be chilly, but it’s a hot time for seasonal fashion and opportunities to show off your best looks. I love finding new ways to style my outfits and leotards for the holiday season because everything is extra festive and sparkly. Playing dress-up to find different ways to pair outfits together can be fun and is one of my favorite things to do in preparation for holiday parties and celebrations.

This season, I put together a velvet holiday lookbook compose of three outfits styles with leotards that can serve as inspiration for your next holiday party, event, or celebration (you know, in case you don’t have time to go through your entire closet putting together a million outfits). Every lookbook needs a theme, and the perfect look for any holiday gathering is glam.

Outfit #1

  • Royal Couture Red Velvet Mesh Leotard
  • Leopard Sparkler Pants
  • Tan Oversized Blazer
  • Tan Heels
  • Red Heart Earrings
  • Gold Star Choker

This look is classic glam tied together with some holiday cheer! I paired my red velvet mesh leotard with some fun sequin pants (leopard, of course) and red statement earrings to bring out the red color in my leotard. A neutral tan blazer ties it all together and makes sure the focus of the outfit is the statement colors and textures and adds a professional vibe.

Fashion Tip: Blazers on trending right now! You can style them for everything from classy everyday looks to fierce party looks. This professional looking piece is by no means confined to the office.

Outfit #2

  • Royal Couture Velvet Zebra Leotard
  • High Waisted Black Cargo Pants
  • White Simple Heels
  • Black Mini Purse
  • Gold Choker
  • Gold Hoop Earrings

This look is one of my favorites for this season because it is chic and comfortable. A simple black and white color palette with a dash of glam animal print from my zebra velvet leotard, the look is completed by a pair of black cargo pants. The detail in the contrast stitching in the pants adds flair to the look and compliments the colors in the leotard.

Fashion Tip: Printed velvet and animal print are a major trend that seems set to carry into the next decade. Pairing your zebra, cheetah, or leopard with a solid color makes the print pop for a look that will definitely stand out! Velvet and animal print go together like cupcakes with frosting! Love. Love. Love.

Outfit #3

  • Royal Couture Cheetah Velvet Leotard
  • White Pearl Blazer
  • Solid Black Velvet Skirt
  • White Simple Heels
  • Pearl Earrings

A look that makes a glamorous statement, I matched my shoes and blazer to make sure my cheetah velvet leotard was the star. Instead of going for the classic blazer and pants ensemble, I styled this pearl blazer with a skirt for a femme girl boss look. (Denim would be another great option for this fierce look!)

Fashion Tip: Match neutral colors throughout your outfit to give one piece the spotlight. You can do this with textures, too! While the shoes and blazer in this look don’t draw much attention, the velvet leotard pulls the look together by breaking up the textures and bringing in color.

“You get to choose how you show up in the world. Choose to conquer and slay!”
