Brianna Rhodes is an 18-year-old dancer from North Carolina. She dances at Pointe South Dance and Tumble.

“I would think of myself as a underdog and us underdogs can surprise you so I want to shows that I can do anything I put my mind too”

Tell us about your dance experience!

When I was 4-ish I watched Dance Moms when it came out, and I was like, “Mom, can I dance please?” So, she put me in dance and now she is one of the reasons I dance because she died from COVID last year, and when I’m sad, I go dance and I know she is cheering me on now.

How does dance have a positive impact on your life?

At my dance studio, it’s a big family and they are my biggest supporters.

How do you want to use dance to have a positive impact on your community?

I want to teach kids who may not have the money [to take dance], to teach them for free.
