Tell us about your dance experience!

I have been dancing since I was 2 and competitively dancing around the country since I was 6. I have been honored to win many overalls and titles, but what I enjoy the most about competing is being able to perform and express myself. I love being able to create art for an audience and show it off.

How does dance have a positive impact on your life?

Dance has a positive impact in my life because of the dance community itself. It is large, yet small, and that is why it is so great. I love the relationships and the families that are made from the sport. Dancing is a type of therapy for me and it never fails me.

How do you want to use dance to have a positive impact on your community?

I want to use dance to have a positive impact on my community by showing hard work, dedication, and showmanship. Dance is a lot more than winning trophies and medals, and many do not understand the hard work that is behind it.
