If the Julie and The Phantoms soundtrack hasn’t invaded all of your playlists, we’d be surprised. The Netflix series starring Madison Reyes, Charlie Gillespie, Owen Patrick Joyner, and Jeremy Shada has quickly become our favorite thing to obsess over. (How many JaTP compilation videos are in your YouTube history? Be honest.)

One of the things that makes the show stand out (other than the fact that it’s a story about a ghost band) is the music. Whether you’re in your feels over “Unsaid Emily” or you’re inspired by “Wake Up,” there’s a song on the soundtrack for pretty much everything, and if the official soundtrack isn’t enough, the cast has been releasing acoustic versions of the songs we can’t get out of our heads.

The latest of the band’s songs to go acoustic is “Bright” from the series’ second episode. Like their characters in the show, Madison Reyes and Charlie Gillespie shine together in the socially-distanced music video. Charlie plays guitar under a tree while Madison belts near a picnic table.

Can you listen to this without hoping for a full acoustic album from cast (or a second season!)?
