“I wish to inspire others to not be afraid of other people’s opinions and to be themselves!”

How does dance have a positive impact on your life?

Dance has given me so much confidence over the years. It’s opened the doors for me to experience new opportunities, to meet new people, and to break out of my shell. It’s allowed me to visit new places and show off my God-given talent. Dance has taught me to be a part of something bigger than myself and to be a team player. I’ve learned leadership skills and to put others before myself. Dance is one of the greatest things to happen to me and my life, and I love teaching younger dancers to appreciate dance as much as I do!

How do you want to use dance to be a positive influence on your community?

I want to be able to spread the word of God through my dancing. I want to be a modest role model for others and to help younger dancers in my community to show off their God-given talents as well. I wish to inspire others to not be afraid of other people’s opinions and to be themselves!
