It has been a long two years without So You Think You Can Dance giving us new dancers to love and moves to learn. Season 16 of SYTYCD ended in 2019, and we’ve been hoping for a return ever since. Now, it looks like the competition show will be back this summer for its 17th season.

TVLine reports rumors that there might be more dance in our future. There’s no official confirmation from Fox about the show’s return (and the show’s page on Fox’s website has been taken down), but an application for a chance to be America’s next favorite dancer went up Wednesday, so auditions for the new season could be happening soon.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed that the show is returning along with our long-standing favorites like host Cat Deely and Executive Producer Nigel Lythgoe. We’ll have to wait for an official announcement before we start hoping for returning judges.
