“I love using dance as a way to express myself and tell stories to people…Dancing brings happiness to the community and that makes me feel amazing, too.”

How does dance have a positive impact on your life?

It helps me destress and relax, and I can put all of my emotions into my dancing. If I’ve ever had a hard day, I can go to dance and know everything will be ok and get better. Dancing makes me feel free.

How do you want to use dance to be a positive influence on your community?

I love using dance as a way to express myself and tell stories to people. You can tell almost any story with your body and face. Dancing brings happiness to the community and that makes me feel amazing too. I’ve performed at nursing homes and charity events many times and it always makes me feel like i’ve done something good for the world.
