“We want the culture of our studio to be contagious!!!! We believe dance can change the world, but it starts with our attitude and behavior!”
Dance is our escape and our outlet! When things go wrong in life, we come to the studio and get such a positive emotional outlet through dance! In dance, we have another family!!! We have a support system to lean on and reach out to when we are in need. Dance has provided countless learning opportunities. Losing and winning can teach you how to be gracious and how to be honorable regardless of the circumstance.
Our studio has made a commitment to use dance to tell important stories. We have used contemporary and lyrical dance to shed light on the subject of school shootings and sexual abuse/assault. We work to spread a positive culture related to dance.
As a team and as individuals we strive to support each other and other dancers from other studios! We want the culture of our studio to be contagious!!!! We believe dance can change the world, but it starts with our attitude and behavior!
In addition, as individuals, we started the Playing it Safe organization to share a message of fitness, sportsmanship and safety to students, parents, and coaches! We are committed to prevention of abuse in any sport including dance! Safety begins with prevention and we are committed to help all kids stay fit and be safe!
