Let’s spread the love for dance! Dance brings you joy, and whether it is your number-one passion, sport, after-school activity, art, or all of the above, sharing it and using it to communicate with others is part of what makes dance so great.

What better way to share your love for dance than to show it? Put on a fun show for friends and family or invite them to your next recital. This gives them an opportunity to see the results of your hard work and lets them feel an emotional connection to your art! Then talk with them and explain what you love about dance and how it makes you happy! Performance is a great way to share dance with anyone from grandparents to your younger siblings.

Post About It

Social media is a great way to showcase your talents, hobbies, and interests. It’s a great outlet for expressing how dance makes you feel and what it means to you. Post TikToks of your turns or have a dance photoshoot and post it on Instagram. Just have fun with it and let your passion be felt through the screen!

Write About It

Writing is a great form of expression and something flexible to your comfort level! There is a way for everyone to write their feelings, even if that means it is something simple like a one-sentence quote. Start a blog, X (Twitter), or even a TikTok account and start writing dance entries. Write as much or as little as you want! The sky’s the limit of how much, what, and where you write about your love for dance.

Celebrate your small and big wins in dance and invite others to join in the fun! Host small parties to celebrate a win at a competition as a team or send out cute cards to your teammates to congratulate them. Anything goes when it comes to showcasing how much you love dance and celebrating what you have accomplished!
