Disney+ revealed the official trailer for Zombies 3, the “trequel” musical film following a high school that just can’t help attracting more (and more) supernatural students.
Milo Manheim continues to star as Zed alongside Meg Donnell as cheerleader Addison. In Zombies 3, Zed and Meg are gearing up for their senior year at Seabrook High (now a safe haven for monsters—ie. zombies and werewolves—and humans alike). Zed is anticipating an athletic scholarship that will make him the first zombie to attend college, while Addison is gearing up for Seabrook’s first international cheer-off. Then suddenly, extraterrestrial beings arrive in Seabrook, provoking something other than friendly competition.
So, aliens are coming to Seabrook! While the last film saw the zombies, werewolves, and humans, struggling for harmony, it looks like the aliens want more than a place to call home…they want the planet. Between alien dance numbers (!!!) and the usual supernatural drama of the Zombies franchise, it looks like this third installment is really going to amp things up.
Zombies 3 also stars Chandler Kinney as Willa, Ariel Martin as Wynter, Pearce Joza as Wyatt, Carla Jeffery as Bree, Trevor Tordjman as Bucky, Kylee Russell as Eliza, Terry Hu as A-spen, Matt Cornett as A-lan, Kyra Tantao as A-li, James Godfrey as Bonzo and Kingston Foster as Zoey. RuPaul Charles joins the cast as the voice of “The Mothership.” The “trequel” will premiere July 15, only on Disney+. A special “Lost Song” version of the film will premiere on Disney Channel on August 12.
