Henson, Octavia Spencer, Janelle Monae and so many more. Katherine, Dorothy and Mary were 3 brilliant and important ladies in history. They served as the brains behind the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit. This moment in history was an extraordinary achievement that put America back into the “Space Race” and restored confidence into the nation. The trials and tribulations that these women fought through were not uncommon during those times. Through hard work and determination Katherine, Dorothy and Mary were able to break through every barrier to create one of the best moments in American and world history.
Hidden figures is proof that girls are just as smart as their male counterparts. This movie also helps us see that gender and race should never put a limitation on someone’s talent.
