“Whenever I need some time to let go or to show people how I’m feeling, I create a dance where I can express all my feelings at once.”

How does dance have a positive impact on your life?

Dance has gotten me through so many different things in life. It helps me express how I’m feeling and makes me feel more confident about myself. Whenever I need some time to let go or to show people how I’m feeling, I create a dance where I can express all my feelings at once.

How do you want to use dance to be a positive influence on your community?

I want people to be able to see that everyone is different. All of us dancers have a different style or way of dance that we like to express ourselves with. I want people to know that it is okay to be yourself and not to care what others think of you, and I would say that dance can really help show that and can help people find themselves, and let people be more confident about themselves!
