“Dance, to me, has always been an expression of my true self…I want to my part in helping put North Dakota on the “Fine Arts Map’…”

How does dance have a positive impact on your life?

Dance, to me, has always been an expression of my true self, a vehicle that I use for emotional release and affirmation, a reflection of my passion and commitment. The dance floor, a mere method of communicating my every mood and sentiment. It has and continues to be a vital part of my being, and I am grateful to be able to share my interpretation of this most noble art form with you!

How do you want to use dance to have a positive influence on your community?

My great state of North Dakota is often mislabeled as a state where “nothing ever happens” when in fact, it is one that is extremely rich in the arts, and its per capita population’s support of the arts far exceeds many other metropolitan areas! Many great and incredible artists and performers have had their start right here in this great state. I want to help change this misconception; I want to do my part in helping put North Dakota on the “Fine Arts Map” by sharing my passion for dance!
