With the premiere of our favorite summer dancer show right around the corner, it’s no surprise that So You Think You Can Dance has started releasing short promo videos on their YouTube channel to get us even more excited. The promos feature the usual LA ticket enthusiasm and clips of enticing dance moves, but one of the promos features something potentially even more exciting. New judges. (You might also spot Sparkle Society member and Showstopper star, RJ Higton in one of the promos if you pay close attention.)
After two years of celebrity judge Vanessa Hudgens and tWitch’s brief stint on the judge’s panel last season, two new stars are joining Nigel and Mary on the judge’s platform. Dominic “D-Trix” Sandoval, a SYTYCD alum (throwback to Season 3) and creative director and Lady Gaga’s choreographer Laurieann Gibson will be helping decide the contestant’s fate this season. And, of course, Cat Deeley will be returning as the show’s host.
The first auditions episode will premiere Season 16 on Monday, June 3, 2019 at 8:00PM ET on FOX.
