In 2009, Homer Bryant trademarked a style that would shake the dance world. This style, inspired by rap music in the early 90s, brings together ballet and hip hop to create something sassy. on pointe, and technically magnificent – Hiplet. Hiplet is a dance movement that has gone viral as Bryant’s dancers plié and nae-nae their way around the world demonstrating their rhythm, their strength, and their deep understanding of both hip hop and classical ballet.
