Camdon Partney is a twelve-year-old dancer from Hamilton, Montana. She dances at Studio M.

“I want to encourage people to find ways to express themselves and find things that make them happy.”

How does dance have a positive impact on your life?

Dance teaches me how to work hard for what I want, set goals, and be self-disciplined. It teaches me how to work within a team and I have built many wonderful friendships along the way. In dance, I am taught to dig deep to connect with my emotions. I am able to make art with my training.

How do you want to use dance to have a positive influence on your community?

I want to encourage people to find ways to express themselves and find things that make them happy. I want to show others that having a passion and working hard at it will bring happiness. I hope that I can help others find their own emotions through my dancing.
