High School Musical: The Musical: The Series star Olivia Rodrigo released her debut single “drivers license” over the weekend, and the song has received a lot of love from fans all over the world since it dropped, but one special fan acknowledge Olivia’s talent on Instagram, and we all need to calm down.

“next to taylor on the us i tunes chart i’m in a puddle of tears 😭😭😭😭” Olivia captioned an Instagram post of a screenshot of the US iTunes chart where “drivers license” was number three behind Taylor’s evermore bonus tracks “it’s time to go” and “right where you left me.”

As if making it to the top three with Taylor Swift wasn’t a big enough deal for a debut artist, Taylor herself commented on Olivia’s post. Quoting her mom, Andrea Swift from an interview in the Journey to Fearless docuseries, Taylor said, “I say that’s my baby and I’m really proud 😢💗👏”.

Olivia shared her excitement in a follow-up post of her green-screened over a screenshot of her caption and Taylor’s comment, lip-syncing a quote from Taylor’s 2007 CMAs Horizon Award acceptance speech, “I can’t believe this. This is definitely the highlight of my senior year.”

Now, “drivers license” is topping the global charts taking the number one spot in the iTunes Top 100 and in Spotify’s Global Top 50. We’re sure Taylor’s eyes are on whatever Olivia has coming up next, and we certainly do, too.
