Jayden Stein is an 18-year-old dancer from Cottage Grove, Minnesota. She dances at Dance by Kris.

“If I can be a small source of inspiration to younger dancers, I will be very happy!”

How does dance have a positive impact on your life?

“I remember dance being apart of my life for as long as I can remember. I have grown up being [a part of] the dance community and my studio was my second home. The teachers have had lasting impacts on me and the older kids were my superheroes growing up! As a person who is naturally very shy and anxious, dance has really brought me out of my shell and taught me how to be confident in myself.”

How do you want to use dance to make a positive influence on your community?

“Just like my teachers and the older students at my studio, All I can hope is to have a positive impact on younger dancers. I really want to be a good influence for them, and hopefully become a great role model! All in all, if I can be a small source of inspiration to younger dancers I will be very happy!”
