Bryant Culler is a 22-year-old dancer from Daniel Island, South Carolina. He dances and teaches at Natalie’s Dance Company and Peace Love Hip Hop.

“I’ve never seen anything bring people together like dance.”

How does dance have a positive impact on your life?

Dance came into my life at the perfect time. Diving in headfirst to everything dance had to offer at the age of 8 has totally put me in the position I’m in now with my passion for dance and music. Competing in all styles and taking every extra opportunity of training and learning about my craft has molded me into the dancer I am today. Hip hop became my favorite instantly. It’s what has bridged me to the amazing relationships I have from traveling all over studying hip hop. I can’t go a day without dance and I’m grateful for what it’s taught me about myself and about my life.

How do you want to use dance to make a positive influence on your community?

“Your community is everything. Dance is a language that flows through how we reflect ourselves in our community. I’ve never seen anything bring people together like dance. Community is the ultimate support system, especially in the dance world. So I use traveling and teaching all over as a way to build more small communities by sharing what I’ve learned from dance and connect with people any chance I can.
