Gabriella Kennedy is a 12-year-old dancer from Arnold, Missouri. She dances at DPU Dance.

“I want to inspire kids of all ages and cultures to come out of their comfort zone and dance.”

How does dance have a positive impact on your life?

“Dance has brought me so much confidence. It shows me that when life and pressures at school or home are hard to deal with, that I always have my dance family to turn to.  It allows me to be free and express my feelings without judgment.”

How do you want to use dance to make a positive influence on your community?

“I want to inspire kids of all ages and cultures to come out of their comfort zone and dance. Dance helped me with dealing with bullies or unkind kids and parents. I want to help my community by knowing that no one should ever feel left out because of finances, or differences. We are all humans and we all deserve love and to be loved. I want to inspire those in my community to be the difference and make a change.”
