It’s gonna be fall, y’all! Another sensational fashion season is upon us, and this one is exciting! It’s time to get ready for a new season in true fashionista style, of course. As we dance our way back into our fall schedules, our calendars begin to fill up, our routines become more consistent, and style trends start popping up everywhere! Let’s step gracefully back into the full swing of things this fall.

On back to school trends, Forbes notes that “Trends always draw from a combination of popular culture and high fashion.” Together, this blend of influences gives us so many options for creating iconic looks. There is always something super exciting and new in fashion rising in popularity (and not necessarily defined by the season). Forbes also says “this year’s back-to-school trends aren’t just for teens and college students, they transend to streetwear in any age segment and are worth watching for style inspiration.” Don’t you love this!? We love to see fashion that bends and changes to fit anyone and everyone.

When it comes to fall fashion this year, my best advice is to continuously have fun with it and wear things you truly love. Work your favorite color, pair of jeans, or accessory into your outfits for that added boost of confidence and personal style.

WIth so much exciting fashion on the rise for fall, there’s plenty of room to get creative and try new things all while picking clothes you feel awesome wearing. As Teen Vogue says, “The best part about clothes is that there are no rules.” Go for it fashion superstar!

Each day is a page in your fashion story!

Fall Fashion Style Look Book

These are some of my favorite fall trends styled for back to school (and back to dance!).

A Classic Pair of Jeans

Constantly in style, jeans are one item you can pair with almost anything and everything in fall. Find a good pair of jeans that are comfortable and universally stylish. When styling a fit, denim is a fashion problem solver. A good pair of jeans can have the ability (or superpower!) to make a look cohesive. Is it any wonder Nylon calls denim “an essential piece to any wardrobe”?

Loose Looks

As sweater weather approaches, choose fun colors and styles with different textures. We are talking fashion-forward, oversized jackets, tees, quality knits, and of course sweatshirts. WWD sees us carrying our vacation vibes into fall. “Designers propose a playful ‘endless summer’ feeling through bold, artisanal knitwear and crocheted styles from head to toe.” Comfort is a key theme in some of the latest fashion designs. Serving looks!

Neutral Sneakers

Trending, well-rounded, and fierce, you really can’t go wrong with a classic sneaker to compliment your outfit and work from the halls to the studio. Neutral-toned sneakers have become a true capsule piece in my wardrobe, and interchangeable piece of footwear that matches with so many different looks. When it comes to the finishing touches of any outfit for fall, pick a multipurpose shoe that is comfortable and versatile.

Collared Shirts

This currently trending look is a style win. Adding a collared shirt to your outfit is simple and a great way to layer and look fabulous. A collared shirt can add flair and elegance with minimal effort. We love an easy to wear fashion statement.

Leather Blazers

This look gives instant style points. Teen Vogue loves the blazer look as much as I do—”Easily elevate any look in seconds by throwing on a blazer.” A leather blazer truly does work with just about every outfit. The fit and tailored shape of a blazer gives next-level chic sophistication to an outfit. “If you’re looking for that last piece that will pull your outfit together, a blazer will come to the rescue,” InStyle says of this A+ look.

Accessories

Going the extra mile to complete your look is always worth it. Finish every super cute fall outfit with matching accessories. Jewelry, coordinating purses, friendship bracelets, headbands, sunglasses, and or even a fresh coat of nail polish. These are all perfect additions to your outfit. Complimenting or contrasting for a statement look is up to you. Have fun styling, fashionista!
