The hilarious Broadway musical School of Rock is holding auditions this Tuesday to find boy and girl child dancers to fill 13 rolls in both the ensemble and as covers for principal roles!

Requirements:
  • Wear clothes you can move in
  • Bring jazz shoes/sneakers
  • Bring your own pop/rock song in case you are asked to stay and sing
  • Bring a picture and resume, stapled together
Roles:
  • Ensemble Roles:
    • Sophia – Pop/Rock Singer who moves well. Must play the bass. This role will understudy the role of Katie.
    • Madison – Pop/Rock Singer who moves well. This role will  understudy Tomika.
    • James – Pop/Rock Singer who moves well. This role understudies Freddy and Zack. Ability to play drums and/or guitar is a plus!
  • Principal Roles:
    • Tomika – Wonderful singer. This character is African American. Killer pipes are a must! Pop/Rock Singer who moves well.
    • Summer – Pop/Rock Singer who moves well.
    • Zack – Proficiency in guitar is a must. Pop/Rock Singer who moves well.
    • Lawrence – Proficiency in piano is a must. Pop/Rock Singer who moves well.
    • Freddy – Plays drums. Pop/Rock Singer who moves well.
    • Katie – Plays bass guitar. Pop/Rock Singer who moves well.
    • Billy – Pop/Rock Singer who moves well.
    • Marcy – Back up singer and dancer with style. Pop/Rock Singer who moves VERY well.
    • Shonelle – Back up singer and dancer with style. Pop/Rock Singer who moves VERY well. Understudies Tomika so must be a truly strong singer.
    • Mason – Pop/Rock Singer who moves well. Must play PIANO. Understudies the role of Lawrence.
